On 5 August 2025, the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) organized The 1st Thailand–Israel Cybersecurity Workshop at the Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit. The event was officially opened by Assistant Professor Dr. Waraporn Promwikorn, Assistant Secretary General of the NCSA, while H.E. Orna Sagiv, Ambassador of Israel to Thailand, served as the Israeli chair for the workshop.
The workshop was held under the cooperation between the NCSA and relevant agencies from the State of Israel to promote knowledge development and strengthen cybersecurity capacity for Thai personnel at both the policy and technical levels.

The programme covered three key areas: external cyber threat trends; the impact of emerging technologies such as cloud, IoT, hardware, and APIs; and the enhancement of cyber incident response capabilities through in-depth training and scenario-based exercises. These sessions were designed to equip participants with practical knowledge and applicable approaches that could be adapted to the Thai context.
Participants also gained valuable insights from experts representing global technology companies, including BrandShield, Sepio, and Upwind, who shared case studies and practical approaches relevant to current cybersecurity challenges.
This cooperation marks another important step for Thailand in advancing national cybersecurity standards and promoting international collaboration to address cyber threats in a sustainable manner.
