
On Monday, 8 September 2025, the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA), in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand, organized “Board Cyber Forum 2025: Cyber Defense with AI and Innovation Strategies” at the Phaya Thai Grand Ballroom, Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai. The forum was designed to strengthen cyber awareness and preparedness among company directors in the capital market sector.

The event featured both strategic-level sessions and practical simulation activities, enabling participants to apply key concepts and approaches to cyber governance and cyber risk management within their organizations in a more concrete and effective manner.

During the forum, AVM Amorn Chomchoey, Secretary General of the NCSA, delivered a special lecture on “Cyber Resilience Strategic Directions for 2025: AI Fluency & Innovation Readiness.” His remarks highlighted the importance of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging innovations to enhance strategic resilience, while underscoring the need for Thailand to prepare for increasingly complex and rapidly evolving cyber threats.

The event also featured the Cyber Crisis Simulation: Game of Cyber Wars, which placed participants in a simulated cyberattack scenario to strengthen their crisis management capabilities. Ms. Saichon Saelee, Director of the Coordination Bureau and Acting Director of the Operations Bureau of the NCSA, was one of the key speakers leading the Game of Cyber Wars session and sharing practical experience and effective response approaches.
This forum reflected strong inter-agency cooperation in enhancing cyber resilience across Thailand’s capital market sector, while reinforcing the role of board members and senior executives in leading organizations through the challenges of cyber risk in the era of AI and innovation.
