The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) has disclosed a data breach resulting from unauthorized access to systems belonging to an external third-party company. The organization reported the incident to the Attorney General’s Office on November 14, 2025. According to the disclosure, the breach affected 810 individuals, with unauthorized access occurring between October 20, 2024, and February 6, 2025. Exposed information includes names and other identifying details, which may also encompass sensitive PII such as Social Security numbers, taxpayer identification numbers, passport numbers, addresses, contact information, as well as payment or banking data.

AIPAC began notifying affected individuals on November 13, 2025, stating that there is currently no evidence that the compromised data has been misused or published on malicious forums. To support those impacted, AIPAC is offering 12 months of IDX identity-protection services, which include credit monitoring, CyberScan monitoring, identity theft insurance, and identity-recovery assistance.

In response to the incident, the organization has also enhanced its cybersecurity measures, including Posture Controls, Non-human Identity Controls, Email Data Loss Prevention (DLP), restricted access to Microsoft 365, privilege alerts, geolocation restrictions, enhanced auditing, and expanded monitoring capabilities to prevent recurrence.

AIPAC is a U.S. political organization that focuses on policy issues related to Israel, working closely with Congress on legislative initiatives, fostering strategic relationships, and conducting outreach and fundraising to strengthen U.S.–Israel relations.
