Intuitive emphasized that the incident was limited to internal IT systems and did not impact its core products, such as the da Vinci Surgical System, the Ion platform, or other digital solutions. This is due to the company’s implementation of network segmentation, which separates IT systems, manufacturing environments, and surgical platforms. Additionally, hospital networks using Intuitive’s systems remain isolated and secure, ensuring that operations and customer services continue as normal.
The company did not disclose the exact timeline of the incident or the number of affected individuals. However, Intuitive confirmed that the situation has been contained and has no material impact on its business operations or financial position. Relevant regulatory authorities have been notified.
