NCSA Delivers Advanced Cybersecurity Training to Strengthen Public Health Personnel in Responding to Cyber Threats

The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) assigned Lt.JG. Theerapol Nongwa, Special Expert, to serve as a speaker in the practical training programme under the advanced cybersecurity initiative titled Advanced Cybersecurity: Web & System Exploitation for DFIR & Threat Hunting (Purple Team). The programme was designed to strengthen advanced cybersecurity capabilities among information technology personnel of the Ministry of Public Health.

The training, conducted as Class 1, was held during 26–30 January 2026 at the Computer Training Room, Building 9, Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Public Health, Nonthaburi. It focused on hands-on practice in key technical areas, including vulnerability analysis, technical exploitation, Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), and Threat Hunting, under a Purple Team approach that integrates both defensive and offensive perspectives.

This programme represents another important step in enhancing the capabilities of government personnel to respond to increasingly complex cyber threats. It also contributes to the long-term strengthening of cybersecurity for Thailand’s public health information systems.
