The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) assigned Lt.JG. Theerapol Nongwa, Director of Cyber Threat Intelligence Management Division, to serve as a speaker at the workshop titled “Threat Analysis and Guidelines for Incident Response”, Class 6 of 2025, held during 8–12 September 2025 at Asia Airport Hotel, Pathum Thani.
The workshop was organized to enhance the technical capabilities of personnel from the Permanent Secretary Office of Public Health, covering key processes in Cybersecurity Operations. The program included the collection and analysis of threat intelligence from multiple sources to support risk prioritization and response planning, the detection of abnormal system behavior through log files and Indicators of Compromise (IoCs), as well as incident response exercises based on standard procedures from preparation to system recovery.

In addition, participants were given hands-on experience with practical cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and Sandbox solutions in order to simulate attack scenarios and strengthen their analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities in a systematic manner.
On this occasion, Lt.JG. Theerapol Nongwa shared direct experience from his work in cyber threat management and presented internationally recognized best practices to support participants in improving their organizations’ information security management in an effective and sustainable way.
This workshop marks another important step in strengthening cybersecurity capabilities among government personnel, particularly in the public health sector, which faces increasingly complex cyber threats that may affect critical information and the continuity of public services.
