The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) participated in an official energy-sector engagement activity organized by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) during 7–9 August 2025 at the Lam Takhong Jolabha Vadhana Power Plant, Nakhon Ratchasima. The programme brought together key agencies in Thailand’s energy sector to strengthen cooperation on cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection.

During the event, Ms. Saichon Saelee, Director of the Coordination Bureau and Acting Director of the Operations Bureau of the NCSA, delivered a session on “Credential Leak Cyber Threats.” Her presentation highlighted the severity of compromised username and password data as a growing global cybersecurity risk, while also sharing practical experience and preventive approaches to help energy-sector personnel better prepare for threats that could affect power systems and national security.

The activity aimed to promote cooperation among major organizations in the energy sector, including EGAT, the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Energy, and the NCSA, through the exchange of knowledge, skills, and strategies for addressing rapidly evolving cyber threats.

NCSA’s participation in this activity marked another important step in strengthening cybersecurity protection for the country’s critical energy infrastructure. It also reaffirmed the shared national commitment to enhancing cyber resilience through closer cooperation among key public-sector stakeholders.
