The company reported that it has investigated and contained the suspicious activity, and has reset PIN codes associated with affected bookings as an additional precaution. At the same time, customers are being warned to remain vigilant against messages, emails, or phone calls impersonating hotels or customer support. The exposed booking data could be leveraged to craft highly convincing phishing campaigns targeting affected individuals.
