The National Cybersecurity Agency (NCSA) provided cybersecurity expertise to strengthen skills for public hospitals in Health Region 1.

On October 25, 2024, Lieutenant Commander Theerapon Nongwa, Director of Cyber Threat Data Management, served as a guest speaker on “Cybersecurity for Public Hospitals in Health Region 1”. The session, held at the Melia Chiang Mai Hotel in Chiang Mai, targeted IT and communications staff from the Ministry of Public Health’s Office of the Permanent Secretary.

The objective of this lecture was to strengthen knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity based on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, focusing on building strong skills among public hospital personnel under the Ministry of Public Health. The training aimed to enhance their ability to respond effectively to cyber threats. NCSA hopes that the knowledge gained will support the development of robust cybersecurity systems in public hospitals across Health Region 1, preparing them to face the growing challenges of the digital era.
