The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) and the Thailand Computer Emergency Response Team (ThaiCERT) organized the academic seminar and networking activity “Thailand CERTs Community (TH-CC)” during 23–25 April 2026 at the Holiday Inn & Suites Rayong City Centre, Rayong. The event was held to strengthen Thailand’s CERT community and enhance readiness to address increasingly complex cyber threats in the digital era. The names ThaiCERT and Thailand CERTs Community (TH-CC) are consistent with the official terminology used on the ThaiCERT website.

The event was officially opened by AVM Amorn Chomchoey, Secretary General of the National Cyber Security Agency, who also delivered a special lecture titled “Crisis and Survival: Strategic Security Insights.” His remarks highlighted key issues including organizational adaptation under Thailand’s cyber legal framework, risks associated with credential leaks, and the growing complexity of AI-related cyber threats, while emphasizing the need for strong protection measures in an increasingly connected world.

The programme featured intensive knowledge-sharing sessions aligned with real-world cybersecurity challenges. Key activities included discussions on the safe and effective use of AI, experience-sharing sessions by ThaiCERT and Sectoral CERTs, and a Cyber Wars Game simulation designed to strengthen practical cyber defense and response capabilities in a realistic scenario-based environment.

The event also provided a platform for international cooperation perspectives and discussions on critical issues affecting national critical infrastructure preparedness. These exchanges reinforced the importance of closer coordination among cybersecurity stakeholders in strengthening Thailand’s overall cyber defense ecosystem.
More than 80 cybersecurity professionals from 26 organizations, representing 12 CERTs, took part in the event, reflecting the strength of Thailand’s cybersecurity cooperation network under the theme “Stronger Together.” The knowledge and recommendations gathered from the programme are expected to contribute to the further development of more effective national cyber threat prevention and response mechanisms in the long term.
