Google has released a security update for Chrome 150 to address 27 vulnerabilities, including two Critical-severity flaws. The two Critical vulnerabilities are CVE-2026-15112, a Use-after-free vulnerability in the Ozone component, and CVE-2026-15129, a Use-after-free vulnerability in the Views component. Both vulnerabilities were discovered by Google’s internal team.

Reports indicate that the update fixes a total of 13 Use-after-free vulnerabilities, including 2 Critical, 10 High, and 1 Medium-severity flaw. In addition, the update addresses other types of vulnerabilities, such as Integer overflow, Out-of-bounds read/write, and issues related to improper validation of data or enforcement of browser security policies.

Users and system administrators should check and update Chrome to version 150.0.7871.114/.115 for Windows and macOS, and version 150.0.7871.114 for Linux, through Help > About Google Chrome or chrome://settings/help. After the update is installed, users should restart the browser to ensure that the security fixes are fully applied. Google has not stated that any of the vulnerabilities in this update have been actively exploited. However, users should update as soon as possible to reduce the risk of attacks through specially crafted webpages or online content.
